polish from La Bella Vernice

I received some beautiful WAHM polishes as a 30th birthday gift from a secret mama!
And i couldn't be more in love!

Starting off.. "Mars in the Stars" is a beautiful textured polish.. sheer and smooth!
Now.. honestly, when I put on the first coat I was skeptical that I wouldn't have to put on a top coat, since it was textured (I generally like smooth nails).. but this isn't chunky! It's a very "polished" (no pun intended) polish. ;)
I love that the sheerness of it has a beautiful orangey-corally tint.. I used 3 layers, since it was my main color, and not a topper this time.
Then I foiled the accent nail and added a tip. And you can't really tell even with the polished tip, that's it's textured underneath. It's a fine texture, and a light enough tint, to where it's super versatile!

The second one I pulled out and used was a holo.. and talk about HOLO! "Jozzibug" is just.. (pick a word that means stunning.. but more)! I used it as an accent this time, hoping it wouldn't be too overpowering. The color is ah-MAZE-ing.. and the holographicness (yes, i just added a word to the dictionary) is stunning.. you can see it from any angle, from any source of light.. even withOUT extra light!
I. AM. IN. LOVE. And you should be too.
The application is fantastic.. it's not thick, it's not thin, it doesn't run, it doesn't streak.. am I allowed to say it's the most perfect application I've ever had with a polish? (.. I just did)
You'd be a fool not to have this in your collection! Even just to stare at. ;)

Last, but definitely not least, is the mini "Feeling Shameless".. color changer! ALSO holographic! I've never had one before and I have to say, it's pretty cool to watch it.. well.. change. :)
I literally put it under warm water, cool water, warm water, cool water.. you get the idea.. just to watch it. LOL.
And just like the last one, the application is fantastic. :)
I am a purple freak, and this shade is just stunning.

the CC Bib

I created this bib out of necessity.
I didn't like how other bibs weren't.. absorbent enough, weren't wide enough, I didn't like the closure, how easy it was for the kid to take off, they weren't long enough, I couldn't get all the crumbs out of the pocket, I didn't like having to wipe down the plastic bibs.. the list goes on!

So I took what I knew I DIDN'T want, and made a pattern of the bib that would fix all of that!!

"CC Bibs are 7 inch long x 10 inch wide, and have three size adjustments on the wings, to allow them to fit from little baby to big messy toddler, with the coverage you need to keep the ick off the shirt!

They are snap closure.. your little one cannot rip this off!"

I love that I can play with the materials on these, too. And in the end, all of them are the same absorbency.. from minkee to flannel, fleece backed for waterproofing or terrycloth.. even an extra layer of cotton for super spitters (upon request)!

I love that the pocket snaps closed.. so it's easy for the parent to open and clean!

And if you don't need to USE the pocket, you can open it up and lay it flat for extra coverage on the child!
Hand washing?! Not this bib! Just throw it in the wash and you're good to go! :)

I'm super stoked about this product :)

And it's super affordable!! from $5-8 each.. they last the life of your child! (my husband even put it on, and it fit around his neck HAHA)

My First Business Post :) CC Bums in the making

Hi there :)
This is Cami.. the mom behind CC Bums :)
If you didn't already know.. the lady behind the blog about homemade items.. is also a WAHM :)

A little background on me.. I started sewing when I was about 8 years old. My mom taught me many things about "do it yourself".. and I'm passing that on to my girls.

God also gave me the opportunity, through the resources of a friend online, to start making diapers for my girls about 7 years ago, just using things I had laying around the house.. sweatshirts, towels, tshirts, receiving blankets, sheets, hoodies.. to make some simple pocket diapers that i could pin and use for any size.
And through this, I was also able to start a business.. Cami Court's Bums.. aka CC Bums. :)

I started on March 15, 2009 as a business in my home.. using a simple old Singer sewing machine, on my kitchen table, with a tupperware tote of fabric.
Mama cloth, family cloth and one-size cotton pocket fitted diapers were the start of something pretty awesome. :)

I've created my own patterns for products over the years.. improving and testing things.. we're going on our 5 year anniversary this March.. and i'm so grateful for all the people who have helped me and stuck with me along the way. :)
I'm super grateful to my husband, owner of BDC Productions (www.bdcvid.com) for learning with me the many benefits of using cloth products and living a green lifestyle!

And now I get the chance to show LOTS more people through the work that I do, how beneficial and affordable reusable products really are! :)

I hope you stick around.. I'm excited to show you all some great information about "green living" and the products that I provide!
